About

Founded in 1978 to provide support for local amateur radio operators. Our goal: to further the art of amateur radio, support part 97 of the FCC rules, and assist the community in times of natural disaster or emergency situations.

Our organization allows for licensed and unlicensed members.  The common interest of the organization is the primary factor for membership.  Dues are twenty dollars per year.  We support two local vhf repeaters, two uhf repeaters, and we also retransmit the EMWIN (Emergency Managers Weather Information Network) on 142.95mhz which gives us instant weather watches and warnings from the National Weather Service.
